Albums of 2008

A deaf man walks into a club. The site he beholds is heinous, a fray of young adults flail their arms and sway in promiscuous fashions. There is never an excuse for such obscene behavior. After heavy contemplation, it becomes clear to him that he has wandered into some strange new twenty-first century asylum for the mentality ill. He begins to question society and the apparent downfall of psychology. There seems to him, no conceivable reason to lock so many people suffering from psychosis in the same room. What crude, twisted form of therapy could he be witnessing? It suddenly occurs to him that this is not at all an asylum but rather a disposal center.

Overpopulation has brought the world to close collapse and there is no room for those unable to contribute to society. Extermination has become the only answer. In order for our race to survive, evolution must be turned up a notch-the strong must hunt and destroy all the weak. It is likely that the weak have built small rebel bases in the sewers and subways of all major cities. They go out at night to find new recruits and raid the extermination camps like the one the deaf man sees before him. They must keep to the shadows though for up and down all our main streets roam the scanners. These are men trained from birth to pick out and eliminate the weaker portions of the human race.

The deaf man realizes that being deaf constitutes him as being part of the lesser half of the human race. He is one of the hunted. Frantically, the man turns to the exit of the club. His only hope now is to find and join up with one of the rebel groups. As he leaves the building, the lights begin to flash. The scanners have probably arrived to glass the captives. Glassing is no way to die; he must do all he can.

DJ Chris looks over yonder from his turntables, "Why is that old man running outside into the cold?"

"I don't know but you better keep blasting those groves.” says Mitch.
